I had the privilege of participating in the Coldest Night of the Year
(CNOY) on February 28, an impactful event made possible by the Blue Sea
Foundation and the Ottawa Mission, and presented by District Realty. The
event took place at the Rogers Centre (Ground Floor, 55 Colonel By
Drive) in Ottawa.

I was proud to support the fundraising team in their efforts to assist
the homeless community in Ottawa. I also joined the 2 km walk alongside
a large and passionate group of supporters who came together for this
meaningful cause.

The event combined physical activity; with walk options ranging from 2 km
to 5 km; with strong community engagement. It brought together diverse
families, community leaders, and representatives from various
organizations. In addition, several networking groups were present,
creating valuable opportunities to build meaningful connections.

Overall, the experience was both energizing and deeply rewarding. Being part of the Coldest Night of the Year reminded me of the strength that emerges when a community comes together with compassion and purpose. We left the event feeling inspired, grateful, and even more committed to supporting initiatives that uplift vulnerable members of our community. It was a powerful reminder that when we walk together, we move closer to building a stronger, more compassionate Ottawa for all.
