The Emi & Henry World Service Foundation held its Annual Community Outreach Event in Ottawa on July 26,2026. This great day was made possible through the generosity of Costco on Cryville Road and huge support of the Ottawa Inn Motel.
What began as an act of giving, grew into the gathering of hearts, a unified approach of purpose and compassion.
The focus of this day was the Varnier community – it’s families, and men, women, experiencing homelessness. Through the kindness of our supporters, we provided food, bottled water, beverages and clothing for men and women.
Throughout this exchange, we sought to create a space where service came with warmth; where help was accompanied by honor; dignity, after all, as nourishment, it too is vital.
To the hands that gave, the hearts that believed, cared, and everyone who offered kindness along the way – thank you. Your generosity, big or small helped make this event successful. Together we brought hope and dignity to those who needed it most, reminding our community that no man is an island – no one walks alone.
